Supplier Code of Conduct

OptiMach Engineering is dedicated to building long-term partnerships with suppliers who share our commitment to quality, integrity, and responsible business practices. This Supplier Code of Conduct establishes the minimum standards expected of all vendors, contractors, and subcontractors working with OptiMach.

1) Compliance with laws and regulations

Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations governing labor, health and safety, environmental protection, trade, and product compliance.

2) Ethical business practices

  • Prohibit all forms of bribery, corruption, and extortion.
  • Conduct business with integrity, transparency, and accountability in all transactions.
  • Protect confidential information and intellectual property belonging to OptiMach or its customers.

3) Labor and human rights

  • Provide fair wages and working hours in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Prohibit forced, bonded, or child labor in any form.
  • Ensure a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, or abuse.
  • Respect employees’ rights to freely associate and collectively bargain.

4) Health and safety

Suppliers shall provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, including proper machine guarding, PPE, ventilation, and training. Incidents and near-misses should be documented, investigated, and corrected promptly.

5) Environmental responsibility

Suppliers are expected to minimize their environmental footprint by managing resources efficiently, reducing waste, and handling materials responsibly. Compliance with environmental regulations and safe disposal of hazardous substances is mandatory.

6) Quality and continuous improvement

Suppliers shall maintain quality management systems consistent with ISO 9001 or equivalent standards. They must promptly address nonconformances, implement corrective actions, and support OptiMach’s continuous improvement goals.

7) Traceability and documentation

Suppliers must maintain accurate records for materials, certifications, and production batches. Traceability should be available upon request to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

8) Subcontractors and sourcing

Suppliers are responsible for ensuring their subcontractors and material providers meet the same ethical, quality, and safety standards described in this Code.

9) Audits and accountability

OptiMach reserves the right to assess supplier compliance through questionnaires, documentation reviews, and on-site audits. Failure to comply may result in corrective actions, suspension, or termination of business relationships.

10) Reporting concerns

Suppliers and employees are encouraged to report violations of this Code or any unethical behavior in good faith. Reports may be submitted confidentially to compliance@optimach.engineering.
