OptiMach Engineering (“OptiMach”, “we”, “us”) provides precision CNC manufacturing and related services. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit our website, request a quote, or work with us as a customer, supplier, or partner.

2) Information we collect

• Contact & business details — name, company, title, email, phone, billing & shipping info.
• RFQ / order content — quantities, materials, finishes, tolerances, timelines; attached files (e.g., STEP/IGES/STL/PDF/DXF); purchase orders and invoices.
• Website & device data — basic analytics such as pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, and browser/device information. (No sensitive categories are intentionally collected.)
• Supplier information — certifications, quality documentation, and contact details for vendor management.

Do not upload confidential or export-controlled data unless we explicitly agree in writing (e.g., NDA).

3) How we use information

• Provide quotes, manufacture parts, fulfill orders, and deliver support.
• Communicate about jobs, lead times, pricing, invoices, and quality.
• Improve our services, capacity planning, and website experience.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud/abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
• (Optional) Send product updates or tips — we’ll include an unsubscribe link whenever applicable.

4) Legal bases (if applicable)

Where required (e.g., GDPR), we rely on: contract performance (quotes/orders), legitimate interests (service improvement & security), legal obligations (tax/records), and consent (optional marketing).

5) Sharing & service providers

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

• Cloud/IT providers (e.g., hosting, storage, email) under contract and only to the extent needed to run our services.
• Logistics & payment partners to ship goods and process payments.
• Quality and compliance partners to meet certification or regulatory requirements.
• Authorities, auditors, or legal counsel where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

6) File uploads & confidentiality

RFQ files and drawings are used solely for quoting, DFM review, manufacturing, and quality assurance. If you check the “NDA required” option or we sign a mutual NDA, we will treat your submission as confidential per the NDA terms.

7) Cookies & analytics

We may use lightweight first-party analytics or privacy-friendly tools to understand site usage (pages visited, duration, referring sites). You can block cookies in your browser; core pages will continue to function.

8) Data retention

We keep RFQ/order records for as long as necessary to provide services and meet legal, tax, and quality-system obligations. We delete or anonymize data when it’s no longer required.

9) Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please avoid sending sensitive data by email and contact us for secure transfer options.

10) International transfers

We operate with teams and infrastructure in the U.S. and Mexico. If data is transferred across borders, we take appropriate steps to protect it in accordance with applicable laws.

11) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. California residents may request disclosures about categories of personal information we collect and can request deletion, subject to exceptions under the CPRA.

Our services are intended for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
